Cooking with Lavender Workshop with Craig Wolfe - Saturday, July 27, 2024
Join us as we learn how to incorporate the scents and surprising flavor of lavender into every day cooking for those days when you can’t make it to the Café. We’ll cover the history of lavender in cooking, share some recipes and resources, and learn hands-on how to make simple syrup and lavender tincture. If you’ve been to a pie crust workshop here over the last few years, you probably already know Craig. Food was always one of his deep passions, and moving just 5 minutes from Long Row lead him to explore new ways to bring more lavender into his cooking. Now he is sharing that adventure with you. You’ll take away a bottle of the fresh simple syrup made that day and also get started on your own bottle of tincture with everything you’ll need to finish at home.
