Date Night - Poetry at the Cafe

The cafe will be open the evening of October 26 for an intimate date night as local award-winning author Sheree K. Nielsen reads from her poetry and photography collection, Mondays in October, with musical interludes by Caleb Butler on acoustic guitar.  For each couple the price includes a copy of the book and a sweet surprise at the end of the evening! The cafe will be open for beverages and a few select desserts will be available.  This will be a small intimate setting, space is limited.
Mondays in October is Sheree's love song for the beach, and her eternal companion water. The book is about art, nature, time, movement, and learning to slow down and live a simpler life. She's dedicated the book to the Siteman Cancer Center nurses who helped make her chemotherapy treatments for Waldenstrom's lymphoma more bearable.
Sheree is also the author of 2015 Da Vinci Eye award winner Folly Beach Dances, Chanticleer semifinalist for Nonfiction Guides - Ocean Rhythms Kindred Spirits, and coauthor of Chanticleer Little Peeps Early Readers First Place Winner and Montaigne Medal Finalist - Midnight, the One-Eyed Cat.
Date: Saturday, October 26th
Doors open at 6:30
Reading begins at 7:00 - 8:45 pm
