Join us as we learn the art of Kokedama from local gardener, Chris Mower of White Stable Farms. Kokedama is a Japanese style of planting that replaces the traditional pot with wrapping the root system in moss and soil. It is a unique presentation style that make great centerpieces and decorations. This is a wonderful way to spend a morning at the farm learning from the best. Chris, a horticulture major in college and an avid gardener started White Stable Farms when he retired from the corporate world. He discovered the planting style while traveling in Italy and decided to bring the technique to Saint Louis. All supplies are included to create either one Kokedama for $45 or two Kokedama for $65.
